EarthAbilities Playgroups is an inclusive, nature based playgroup format designed to bring the joys of nature-based play to all children. As someone with over a decade's worth of experience working with children ages 0-14 and a nature enthusiast myself, I have noticed major changes in the wellbeing of children when they are able to play outside. The children feel more refreshed and calmer compared to being indoors. Nature programs and forest schools have been gaining traction over the years and nature based playgroups keep popping up all over. However, I have noticed that access to these programs are limited. In my opinion, this is unacceptable because all children deserve access to nature-based play.
